Description:

Our client, a leading Electronics Manufacturer in Pinetown, is looking for a SHEQ Manager

Must Have:
• Managing Quality Management Systems with and experience of not less than 3 years in managing quality and knowledge on health and Safety systems
• Understanding of electronics or even comes from an Auto's space. They need :
o ISO 9001:2015
o SHEQ exp
• Automotive experience
• IATF would be also a requirement
• VDA will be a bonus

Responsabilities:
Quality
• Co-Ordinate internal and external audits, ensuring audits schedules are in place and executed according to plan
• Manage QA communication process (daily, weekly and monthly meetings)
• Co-Ordinate the implementation of the CPAR system
• Ensure that appropriate corrective actions are implemented and effective preventative actions are taken to prevent future re-occurrence of defects
• Monitor production performance (performance data)
• Manage the quality terms responsible for quality control
• Act as customer representative and ensure that concerns and results of investigations are communicated fully with all parties
• Co-Ordinate development, implement and maintaining of a robust Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with the QMS requirements
• Take responsibility for ensuring compliance to PL’s QMS systems, which is in-line with ISO9001 International Standard
• Ensure quality management reviews of the quality management system take place at planned intervals
• Identify quality training needs and ensure delivery of quality training programs
• Modify or add to the Quality Management System as and when required
• Prepare for and attend Management meetings in line with published agendas
• Co-Ordinate the development of product Quality Plans as and when required
• Ensuring that the QMS achieves its intended results
• Implement identified actions to address risks and opportunities in your department
• Identify and implement approved improvement opportunities for your process

Healthy, Safety and Environment
• Co-Ordinate, development, implementation and maintaining a safety, health and environment system to satisfy the requirements of local legislation and relevant legal safety requirements
• Identify health and safety training needs and organize health and safety training courses
• Co-Ordinate safety meetings (Safety reps and Safety committee meetings)
• Co-Ordinate Health & Safety monthly inspections and reporting
• Co-Ordinate evacuation exercises (drills and emergencies)
• Ensure all letters of appointments are issued and signed as per safety act requirement
• Schedule and execute Health & Safety Audits
• Co-Ordinate proper disposal of waste
• Co-Ordinate incident, accident investigation and reporting

KPI’s
• Must be self-driven and demonstrate ability to work with minimum of supervision
• Collate and present accurate performance data for all areas of the business via regular Quality Review meetings
• Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement at all levels of the business through efficient use of all the CPAR system
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of the business
• Written and oral communication skills must be off a suitably professional nature

Salary: R30 - 35K CTC Negotiable
