Description:

Our client, a leading Print & Packaging Group in Umhlanga is looking for a Group MIS Administrator

Must Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Financial
• Ideally should come from a manufacturing or printing background
• Strong background in Print MIS Systems Administration and Support
• Must have demonstrated experience with Print Estimating Systems

Responsabilities:
MIS Management
• Ensure the optimal performance of MIS with respect to the below:
o Understanding of major business processes associated with ERP/MIS, including Print Manufacturing Estimating and Setups
o Budgeted Hourly Rates
o Print Estimating Setups, i.e. Departments, Cost Centres, Operations, Calculations, Capacity Units, Planning Units, Formulas
o Order, Production Costing and Pricing
o Shop Floor Data Collection and Production De-costing and Cost Recovery
o Design, evaluate and implement solutions related to the ongoing support and function of MIS systems
o Troubleshoot ERP/MIS-related issues and manages a ticketing system for issue resolution
o Optimisation and utilisation of the MIS system
o Monitor system access and security for master data managers and subject matter experts (SMEs)
o Support production, test and sandbox instances of ERP/MIS systems
o Consult for various software development projects that integrate ERP/MIS systems
o Customize and configures workflows, business rules and routing for business integration of ERP/MIS systems
o Communicate with end-users on system availability, maintenance windows, and patch releases

Training and Development
• Assist with the implementation of ERP Training across the group
• Develop standard operating procedures

Project Management
• Work with Project Managers to improve the ERP Application and Service to Business
• Adhere to best practice, corporate guidelines and objectives
• Interface with internal clients as needed and participate in client communication

Research & Development
• Research and development on ongoing projects and business specific projects
• Support business functions by providing information and innovative solutions when required
• Keep abreast of developments /new technology, processes and equipment

Communication
• Develop open and effective communication with all users
• Prepare and supply relevant reports and input for management

Salary: R 45K – R 50K CTC

Must Have:
• 3yrs+ experience
• A portfolio of work

Responsabilities:
• Study and understand client briefs
• Study and understand our clients and their brands
• Work with Account Executives/Project Managers and designers to produce final website projects
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create website and e-newsletter layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Be responsible for maintaining and developing our clients sites
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Have familiarity with the following programming languages: PHP and Javascript

Must Have:
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
• 3-4 years’ experience in information systems/development/administration
• SAP ERP Systems
• MS SQL Administration/Query/Development
• K2 Workflows
• Java / JavaScript, C++, C Sharp , .Net
• Web Developer
• ERP Experience

Responsabilities:
• Produce a quality Project Charter and Business Requirement document
• Conduct Face to face meetings to assess the user requirement for the SAP, E-Commerce Portals, K2 Workflow, and/or other business systems
• Reviews Analyse and manage system projects and changes
• Be the single point of contact between business and service providers
• Develop the design and scoping documentation
• Develops effective reporting tools for the business unit
• Manages all projects within budget and timeframes agreed in order to achieve operational objectives
• Start development on the related systems SAP, E-Commerce Portals, K2 Workflows and or related Business Systems
• To conduct and oversee all updates to the SAP, E-Commerce Portals, K2 Workflows and or related Business Systems
• Schedule - Integration and User Acceptance testing with the business owner
• Ensure that the Test servers are maintained and up to date on a regular basis
• Test the new patches and updates on the Live systems
• Liaise with all business system vendors and communicate system related queries and issues with them
• Ensure that user access and security is maintained within the business systems
• Set up new employees and train them on the various business systems
• Seeks to increase efficiencies within sales business processes through new innovations and continuous improvement

Salary: R31 000 - R46 000
