Description:

Our Client, a leading Global Manufacturing Company, is looking for a Medical and Detailing Manager

Must Have:
• Minimum: a business related qualification
• 6 years’ experience in the medical field
• Good understanding of clinical data and research protocol is a must
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
• Excellent planning and organising skills (Attention to detail)
• Strong attention to detail and high level of written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter able to take initiative and ownerships of projects and prioritise workload to completion with limited supervision
• Proficient in all MS Office packages
• Train-the-Trainer knowledge and experience, including adult learning systems
• Mature, firm and professional – ability to ensure confidentiality of information
• Medical Regulatory Experience Including Submissions
• Hospital Tender Experience (Private and State)

Responsibilities:
Medical Management (40%)
• Identify and collaborate with Key opinion leaders to create advocacy
• Research and understand clinical data to translate to detailing team
• Create, design and provide all necessary doctor promotional materials and activities
• Organise and participate in relevant medical conferences and events – responsible for application of accreditation/CPD Points for HCPs
• Medical strategy, Budget Allocation & Control – Including Sampling
• Clinical Trial selection, doctor selection, ethics approval and implementation
• Oversee/keep track of Regulatory submissions and managing the process through approvals (Eucerin and Elastoplast)

Territory and Detailing Team Management (60%)
• Manages, coaches and leads detailing team
• Detailing strategy and implementation to increase doctor/healthcare recommendation and ultimately drive sales
• Responsible for development of product and medical training kits
• In depth training to upskill medical & scientific knowledge of Detailers – ensure testing and other forms of development
• Train and Develop Outsourced Pharmacy Team, PTA’s, BA’s and other relevant Business Partners
• Development of Regional tracker to measure Detailer area growth
• Reporting Management, Detailer Expenses Management
• Incentive program management
• Territory management: HCP prioritisation, targeting - identify new areas/HCP specialisations to increase business
• Drive engagements in Classical Pharmacy in order to increase portfolio awareness and product offering – to drive sales

QA Manager

QA Manager

Description:

Our client, a personal care product manufacturer is looking for an QA Manager

Must Have:
• Matric with pass in Maths
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in the field of Chemistry, Food Technology, Quality or Biotechnology
• Advanced computer and Excel skills
• Strong Numerical and Analytical skills
• The ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken word)
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as Quality Assurance Manager
• Proven knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22716
• Own reliable transport (position will be based in Amanzimtoti)

Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all corrective actions are dealt with accordingly and that they are monitored for statistical purposes
• Compilation of product information files based on the requirements of the Draft Regulations relating to Advertising, Labelling and Composition of Cosmetics in South Africa
• Implements, manages, maintains, oversees, administrates and improves ISO 9001 + ISO 22716 certification and the quality management system, including related standards (e-mark) and initiate new SOPs as and when required, as per company needs
• Ensure that current processes are consistent with established QMS and legal standards
• Ensure that new procedures or any procedure changes are updated to reflect current practice
• Ensure that international and national legislation are applied and adhered to
• Assists to align all Departmental objectives so as to achieve those mentioned in the Company Policy
• Ensure that Calibrations of all equipment are carried out timeously
• Ensure that validation activities are carried as and when required
• Ensure that all facets of the organisation comply with Cosmetic GMP
• Conduct and coordinate internal audits of all facets of the Company to ensure that all SOP and systems are adhered to
• Ensure that follow up of findings is performed and that corrective actions are sufficient
• Consider processes in terms of added value and continually improve processes based on objective measurements per department
• Obtaining results of process performance from management reports and make recommendations for improvement
• Identify gaps between current and required practice, recommend and drive improvement activities to address the gaps
• Ensuring that the QC/QA team are trained and equipped to perform at Optimal level
• Controlling deviation from Bills of Materials, product specifications and internal processes
• Managing change control through the Quality Management System and ensure that changes are documented and communicated accordingly to all relevant parties
• Managing Risk Management document for the company
• Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for external suppliers
• Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff

Salary: R 25K – R 30K CTC
